Black Girl Tech Day
Black Girl Tech Day was created to provide Black Female Founders in tech with an opportunity to network, learn and celebrate our unique contributions to the entrepreneurial community and to support founders by offering expert panels, funding resources and mentorship.

Black Girl Tech Day: South Africa
We are excited to announce we are hosting our 2nd Black Girl Tech Day event series in South Africa on July 23rd, 2022, at The University of Pretoria. This event will teach and inspire the next generation of Black female founders in tech. This full-day immersive conference will offer a robust curriculum, covering topics from establishing your place in the industry to funding and mentorship. BGTD has an extensive network of industry-leading professionals that will be available to support and guide you through your startup journey. Is an experienced Lean Startup program manager, practitioner, trainer/educator, and coach. Having built a successful lean innovation program at Caterpillar and worked with over 350 startup and innovation project teams spanning 5 continents over the past 15 years.

Is an entrepreneur and freelance writer based in New York City. Amira currently serves as the CEO of The Folklore, a Techstars-backed e-commerce distribution company that sells luxury African designer fashion and lifestyle products.

Is the CEO and Founder of QuirkChat a social video collaboration and channel chat app for geeks and hobbyists that emphasizes community moderation and community building.
